Attacks on the Moscow region are gradually becoming commonplace
Russia should continue the war against Ukraine "to protect itself from such manifestations", Dmytro Peskov believes.
The Russian authorities accuse Ukraine of organizing massive drone attacks on Russian cities. This seems to be "the essence of the current Ukrainian government." This statement was made by Kremlin spokesman Dmytro Peskov at a briefing on Tuesday, September 10.
"There is no way to associate night strikes on residential neighborhoods, the Kyiv regime continues to demonstrate its essence. They are enemies," he said.
According to Peskov, that is why Russia should continue the war against Ukraine "to protect itself from such manifestations." At the same time, he forgot to say that until February 24, 2022, there were no drone attacks on Russian cities.
He also denied the existence of clear agreements with Ukraine regarding the limitations of strikes on energy facilities before the invasion of the Armed Forces of the Kursk region.
"There were no clear agreements - this is the first. Now it is difficult to imagine the possible achievement of any agreements against the background of the situation in the Kursk region," said Peskov.
