In the Kursk region, the Defense Forces of Ukraine discovered and destroyed the Russian remote mining machine "Zemledelie".
The video of the attack on the Russian position was released by the 413th separate battalion of unmanned systems.
"The 413th OBBS together with the integrated detachment of the BpS 78th ODSHP "Dhiml" near the Russian pontoon crossing on the Seim River destroyed a rare modern system of remote mining," the military said.
After defeating the Russian position with a mining machine, the ammunition of the latter immediately detonated and began to fly in different directions.
As Militarnyi writes, the Russian mobile demining system "Zemledelie" is designed for the prompt creation of minefields in particularly dangerous areas. It is capable of creating minefields at a distance of 5 to 15 km.
"Zemledeli" fires rockets that ensure the placement of mines in a given area. It is also possible to lay minefields of any complexity, including those with passages for your troops.
Outwardly, the artillery part of the engineering machine resembles the launchers from the "Grad" MLRS.
The machine uses similar ammunition of 122-mm caliber, but for mining, ammunition with a warhead filled with ready-to-install mines is used.
