The Vice President of the United States of America, Kamala Harris, is slightly ahead of the candidate for President of the United States from the Republican Party, Donald Trump, in the so-called key states. It is the results of voting in these states that usually decide the fate of the presidential election.
This is stated in a CNN/SSRS survey published on Wednesday, September 4. According to the poll, Harris is ahead of Trump in the states of Wisconsin, Georgia, Michigan and Nevada.
At the same time, the advantage of the American vice president is within or barely outside the statistical margin of error.
In Pennsylvania, Harris and Trump each have 47% of the vote, and in Arizona, as noted, the Republican is ahead of the Democrat by 5 percentage points.
In all key states, voters trust the Republican candidate more on the economy and immigration. Instead, Harris is ahead of Trump on issues of protecting democracy and reproductive rights.
In addition, more than half of voters in key states said Trump's views and policies were too extremist, according to the poll. A little less than half of the respondents said so about Harris.
