HUR specialists carried out a cyber attack on Russia's largest banks

Cyber ​​specialists of the Main Directorate of Intelligence carried out another DDOS attack on the banking system of the Russian Federation.

This was reported to Ukrinform by sources in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

"Ukrainian intelligence has again attacked Russia's largest banks. Cyber ​​specialists of the Main Directorate of Intelligence carried out another DDOS attack on the banking system of the Russian Federation. As a result of the operation, the operation of the largest banking institutions of the aggressor state, which ensure the activities of the occupying forces of the Russian Armed Forces, was disrupted," the message reads.

It is noted that "Bank Russia", "Tinkoff Bank", "Gaz Bank" and the "SBP" payment system came under cyber attack. Users in many regions of the Russian Federation complain about the blocked operation of online services of financial institutions, the inability to use the "personal account", the suspension of the websites and mobile applications of banks. Also, bank clients cannot pay for services online.
