Tesla has integrated navigation from Uber into the multimedia system of electric cars. It is noted that in some markets, American electric cars have become very popular among service drivers, who take advantage of subsidies and lower fuel costs.
Until now, taxi drivers have cradled their phones to control the Uber Driver app and monitor navigation on their phones through the Uber app or through a third-party app. Now, Uber has announced that Tesla drivers using the ride-sharing app can now automatically send ride navigation to their car screens.
“Enjoy bigger and bolder navigation. As soon as you accept a ride request on your phone, the boarding and disembarking information will be automatically sent to the screen of your Tesla," the company said in a statement.
Interestingly, in addition to navigation, Uber drivers can tell the ride-sharing app information about their current battery level to request a ride only within that radius.
