If you bake a chicken breast in sour cream and serve it with baked vegetables or any other side dish, you will get a real finger-licking dinner. The dish is prepared very simply.
You will need:
- 1 chicken breast;
- 150 g of sour cream;
- 100 g of hard cheese;
- 2 cloves of garlic;
- 1 pinch of black pepper;
- 0,1 tsp. salt
To bake a chicken breast in sour cream, first wash the meat in running water and dry it with a paper towel. Transfer the sour cream to a bowl. Salt, pepper, add a clove of garlic peeled and passed through a press.
If desired, you can add any other favorite spices, but just a little. Mix everything thoroughly. Dip the chicken breast in the sour cream sauce and coat all sides. Transfer to a baking dish.
Send to the refrigerator first. Wait 2-3 hours. Meanwhile, grate hard cheese on a grater. Turn on the oven, setting it to 180 degrees. Put the form with the chicken to bake for 30 minutes, covered with foil.
Take out the form, set aside the foil. Pour the broth that has formed in the mold over the piece of chicken. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Return to the oven again for 15 minutes. During this time, the cheese should melt, and an appetizing crust will form.
Serve the baked chicken breast in sour cream with cheese to the table with vegetables or any other side dish. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving. Everyone's ovens heat up differently, so you may have to either add a few minutes to the time specified in the recipe, or, on the contrary, reduce it. Look at the situation.
Be sure to use foil when baking. It will not allow steam to escape from the meat, and the chicken will be especially juicy. In addition, in this form, the dish will be cooked much faster.
