The car will receive X-shaped daytime running lights, an updated front bumper with large air intakes and four exhaust pipes similar to the XM super crossover.
The new BMW X5 will be bigger and heavier than the previous model, with the code name G65, while the sports version (M-model) will be called G95. According to insiders, the car will be available in several powertrain versions, including petrol, diesel and hybrid variants.
One version will be the M60e Drive, which will be equipped with a 3-liter twin-turbocharged 6-cylinder engine, an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery. The total power of the installation will be about 570 horsepower, and the all-wheel drive system and an 8-speed automatic transmission will be included in the standard equipment.
The official start of sales of the new BMW X5 is scheduled for early 2027.
