Probably, everyone sometimes likes to treat themselves to something exquisite, especially when it comes to seafood. But there are certain secrets to their proper preparation.
Shrimp is one of the most common types of seafood on the shelves of our stores. Many people prefer them because they can be prepared in different ways: boiled, fried with spices or simply added to your favorite salad, giving it piquancy.
But there is one problem that most housewives face. Unfortunately, it is not so easy to turn frozen shrimp into an aromatic and flavorful dish. Sometimes they turn out just rubbery or tasteless. However, we know the secret to making the perfect shrimp and want to share it with you.
You will probably be surprised, but cooked shrimp reveal their best taste. Therefore, it is important to be able to cook them correctly. For this we will need: one carrot, 20 grams of celery stalk, 5 grams of black pepper with peas, aromatic herbs to your taste.
To begin, take a saucepan, fill it with water and add finely chopped carrots, a stalk of celery and a slice of lemon. Pour black pepper and add aromatic herbs. In a pot with this broth, put thawed shrimp without heads - you don't need to clean them. Thanks to the shell, the shrimp will be better permeated with spices.
In order for the shrimps to be tender, they cannot be boiled in boiling water. As soon as you notice that the water is about to boil, cook the shrimp for another one to one and a half minutes. Take out one shrimp and check for doneness by submerging it in very cold water. If the shrimp is not rubbery, remove all the others and submerge them in cold water as well. In this way, the shrimp will stop cooking, and you will definitely not overcook them.
Bon appetit!
