Ingredients
You need to prepare the following products:
- whole grain flour - 375 g;
- sugar - 70 g;
- salt - ½ teaspoon;
- baking powder - 1 tablespoon;
- walnuts - 60 g;
- cocoa powder - 4 tablespoon;
- dried cherry - 120 g;
- egg - 1 pc.;
- milk - 220 ml;
- butter - 75 g;
- vanilla essence - 1 tsp.
- orange or lemon peel - 10 g.
How to cook
Mix together the sugar, salt, baking powder, flour, cocoa, nuts and cherries. separately beat the egg with milk, vanilla essence and soft butter. Now combine the two mixtures together. The dough will turn out, but it should not be too thin.
Spread the dough on the molds. It is better to use silicone. Fill to ⅔. because the muffins will rise. Sprinkle the zest on top.
