The predator with tears was awarded the long-awaited gold medal of Paris-2024 (video)

The boxing tournament in the weight category up to 80 kg was awarded in Paris. The four best athletes in the division were awarded.

The winner of the weight category was Oleksandr Khizhnyak, the portal Noviny.LIVE reported.

Awarding the Predator

For Khizhnyak, this is the second Olympic Games in his career. In 2021, Oleksandr won a silver medal in Tokyo. The Ukrainian dominated the final match, but suddenly missed a shot that knocked him off his feet.

Due to the defeat, Khizhnyak decided to stay for one more Olympic cycle and still won the long-awaited gold medal.

Khizhnyak became the fourth Olympic gold medalist from Ukraine after Volodymyr Klitschko, Oleksandr Usyk and Vasyl Lomachenko.
