Terrible footage of the destruction was shown by the pilots of the Black Swan strike group of the 225th Assault Battalion, which held positions in the city.
The video appeared on August 5 on the unit's channel.
"Chasiv Yar is another Ukrainian city that actually ceased to exist after the so-called "liberation" by the Russians. Our battalion defended it for 4 months, steadfastly holding the positions assigned to us. Now it's time to rest and prepare for new tasks. The 225th assault battalion went on rotation," the report said.
In the coming weeks, the battalion will restore strength, train new recruits and prepare for the next operations.
