Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris' campaign said it raised $310 million in July, far outpacing rivals from the camp of Republican nominee Donald Trump, the former White House chief of staff. This is reported by Reuters.
It is noted that donors from the Democratic Party are willing to join in financing the candidacy of the current vice president. The publication recalls that the Trump campaign announced that it had raised $139 million last month, when the former president was assassinated, which caused an outpouring of sympathy for him.
"The total amount raised by Harris and Biden (before Biden withdrew his candidacy - ) exceeded 1 billion dollars, which is the fastest figure that a presidential campaign has reached in history," the report said.

Kamala Harris won over Trump in seven important states. According to a Bloomberg survey, the current vice president was supported by 48% of voters against Trump's 47%.
That's a stronger showing than President Joe Biden's two-point lead over Trump before he dropped out of the race. Harris edged Trump in Arizona and Nevada and more than doubled Biden's lead over Trump in Michigan.
