Ismail Gania was buried at the cemetery in the city of Lusail
The burial ceremony took place in the capital of the country, Doha, where prayers were said over the deceased's house, and then the coffin was transported to the city of Lusail.
The head of the Hamas politburo, Ismail Gania, was buried in a cemetery in the city of Lusail, north of the city of Doha, the capital of Qatar. It is reported Al Jazeera on Friday, August 2.
Officials, members of the Qatari royal family and members of Ghana's own family attended the burial ceremony.
The ceremony was attended by the first vice president of Iran, Mohammad-Reza Aref, and the head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Hakan Fidan.
Thousands of people came out to say goodbye to the head of the Politburo. Prayers were said over the coffin with his body in the Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab Mosque in Doha, and then it was taken to Lusail.
In connection with the presence of dozens of statesmen, mostly from Islamic countries, security measures were significantly increased at the ceremony.
Prayers for Khania also sounded on Friday in Indonesia, Turkey, Yemen, and other countries. In Pakistan, the country's Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif prayed together with the faithful.
