Buyers are offered two versions of the new electric hatchback - ID.3 GTX and GTX Performance. It turned out that the new products are not only inferior to their gasoline relatives Golf GTI and GTI Clubsport in terms of dynamics, but also more expensive. Autocenter writes about it.
This year, the company from Wolfsburg presented the "charged" hatchbacks Golf GTI and GTI Clubsport to its fans, and now dealers have two more hot hatches, but in the electric version ID.3 GTX and GTX Performance.
Both electric cars are equipped with a rear-mounted electric motor. In GTX, it develops 286 hp, and acceleration to the first hundred takes 5,9 seconds. The cost, including the state subsidy (€3570), in Germany is €47225. The more powerful 325-horsepower version of the GTX Performance takes 0 seconds to sprint from 100 to 5,7 km/h. At the same time, the price of the GTX Performance after the subsidy is 48 euros.
For comparison, the cost of the sporty Golf GTI Clubsport with a 3-liter 301-horsepower turbo engine is 48 euros, and acceleration from 075 to 0 km/h takes 100 seconds. In turn, in the GTI with a 5,6-horsepower gasoline engine, the speedometer needle crosses the "265 km/h" mark in 100 seconds. At the same time, the price of this version in Germany is 5,9 euros.
