In Moldova, a deputy died from a wasp bite

Yuri Pesat passed away at the age of 52. For many years, he devoted himself to society, in particular as the head of the village of Balchana.

52-year-old Moldovan deputy Yurie Pesat died as a result of anaphylactic shock after being bitten by a wasp. People's representative from the liberal pro-European party Action and solidarity (the founder is the current head of the country Maya Sandu) was the deputy chairman of the committee on agriculture and food industry. This was reported by the party's press service on its Facebook page on Monday.

The message states that Pesat died on Monday morning, August 5.

"It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of our colleague Yuri Pesat, Member of Parliament, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture and Food Industry. He died this morning from anaphylactic shock caused by a wasp bite," the party's announcement said.

The party noted that Yuri Pesat has devoted himself to society for many years, in particular as the head of the village of Balchana.
