Iran has vowed revenge for the murders of Fuad Shukra and Ismail Hania
Tehran's revenge will take place according to the April 13 scenario, but the response will be more extensive, writes Axios.
Iran can attack Israel as early as Monday, August 5. This was reported by Axios with reference to Israeli and American officials.
It is noted that against the background of the recent escalation between Israel, Iran and Hezbollah, the head of the US Central Command, Michael Kurila, arrived in the Middle East.
His trip to the region was planned before the escalation of the situation, however, according to the interlocutor of the publication, the general will use it to mobilize the same international and regional coalition that defended Israel from an attack by Iran on April 13.
Kurila is expected to visit several Gulf countries, Jordan and Israel.
Axios recalls that Iranian and Hezbollah leaders have vowed to avenge the killings of Hezbollah military commander Fuad Shukra and Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh.
In connection with a possible Iranian attack on Israel, the US is building up its forces in the Middle East, and has sent additional warships and fighter jets to the region.
US officials expect Tehran to follow the April 13 scenario, but the response will be larger and involve Hezbollah in Lebanon.
