The sauce is prepared in 5 minutes. Perfect for fresh or cooked vegetable salads and meat salads. It does not contain raw eggs and vegetable oil, but it tastes like classic mayonnaise (plus fewer calories). I call it mayonnaise sauce. All you need is 3 simple ingredients and a small amount of cooking time.
Ingredients:
Portion 220 g
- 1 can of soft cheese (170 g)
- 3 chicken eggs (SO, boiled)
- 1 tsp. mustard
Preparation:
In boiled eggs, separate the yolks from the whites. Mash the yolks with a fork in a bowl.
Put the cheese in the yolks. For cooking, I use soft cheese of 5,5% fat. Such cheese has a uniform consistency and is thick. If desired, you can add a pinch of salt
Beat quickly with an immersion blender.
Add not very hot mustard. For variety, the sauce can be supplemented with various chopped greens and garlic.
Beat again and get a very tasty mayonnaise sauce.
In appearance, consistency and taste, it is similar to classic mayonnaise, but it has fewer calories. It has a slight sourness that gives this sauce its special character. It goes well with both fresh and boiled vegetables in salads. Meat salads are very tasty with it.
