The American company GoSun introduced the charger for electric cars EV Solar Charger, which is a collapsible set of solar batteries that cover most of the surface of the car. The manufacturer disclosed the characteristics of the product on its official website.
It is reported that the EV Solar Charger will fit almost any electric vehicle. The device is delivered assembled and installed on the car roof in just 20 minutes. Installation requires only a few wrenches. If necessary, the structure can be removed in a few minutes.
The panels unfold on the windshield, hood and trunk of the car. A 200-watt solar battery is built into the lid of the box itself, which allows you to charge the car on the go. In the expanded video, the power of the device increases six times - up to 1200 W.
The charger is currently available for pre-order. GoSun lists the retail price as $2. It is planned to start supplying panels to customers in 999.
As the portal New Atlas points out, the EV Solar Charger can be the most revolutionary today. It not only charges the car on the move or in the parking lot, but also shades the windshield and rear window from the sun, helping to keep the interior cooler on hot days.
