Thanks to modern optical sights, the 50-year-old Soviet anti-aircraft missile "Arrow-10" has become a super-effective weapon against drones of the Russian Armed Forces, explained the fighter of the Armed Forces. During the last time, the device shot down 17 enemy targets in the south.

Ukrainian fighters defending the skies over Odesa region shot down two Russian reconnaissance drones with the help of the Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile system. At the same time, the consumption of missiles and accuracy were the best - "one to one". Technical specialist Gennady Suldin told about the details of the air defense system on his Facebook page.

Suldin emphasized that the "Arrow" air defense system was modernized by specialists from the "Technari" group. Thanks to their work, two more Zala UAVs were shot down recently — these were the 16th and 17th neutralized targets, according to the post. Such accuracy is the result of the use of modern sights installed for anti-aircraft fire, created during the times of the USSR.

The author of the post added that "Valleys" are electro-optic sights that were installed on "antique and blinding" anti-aircraft guns. Thanks to this, they have "enlightened" and 100% shoot down small targets, which are spy drones of the Russians (Zala fly at an altitude of up to 3 km).
