Fuel tanks are on fire in the Kamian district of the Rostov region as a result of a drone attack.
This is reported by local residents. As it is claimed, the FGCU "Kombinat "Atlas" of the Office of the Federal Agency for State Reserves in the Southern Federal District was attacked.
Since its inception, the "Atlas" plant has specialized in the storage of oil products, local media reported.
The plant also supplies oil products to the Russian army, journalists claim. "In August 2020, joint exercises of the Ministry of Defense and the Russian Reserve were held on the basis of the plant as part of the Caucasus-2020 exercises. In demonstrative exercises on the release of oil products for the needs of the army, three methods were practiced - by road, by rail and by pipeline", - according to the publication of the newspaper "Zemlya" in 2023.
