It is reported that on August 1 in the Sverdlovsk region of the Russian Federation in the city of Nizhny Tagil, the entrance of a five-story residential building collapsed as a result of a gas explosion.
As of the morning of August 2, rescuers pulled out the bodies of four dead people from under the rubble.
In total, fifteen people were rescued, including seven children. Debris analysis is ongoing. In total, 550 rescuers and 74 pieces of equipment were involved in the search and rescue operation.
