Not everyone can afford a vacation to the Galapagos Islands, but even if you've splurged on a stunning hotel, at any moment you might be asked to vacate your sunbed for… a sea lion.

Solymar Hotel is a picturesque retreat located on the coast of Puerto Ayora in the Galapagos Islands. Guests are provided with a number of amenities, but there is one nuance: the whims of local animals.

A sea lion named Wendy always gets her way, because no one forbids her to do what she wants!

"She is our main guest," said a hotel representative.

Employees don't know exactly when Wendy started showing up at the hotel, but apparently she feels right at home. Wendy returns to the hotel every evening to take a dip in the pool and relax on a sun lounger after a hard day at sea. The animal feels so confident in the hotel that it easily chases guests away from the sunbeds it likes. Just watch this video!

In fact, Wendy is not the only sea lion who likes to relax in local hotels. Animals in the Galapagos Islands often visit the hotel grounds. The staff usually don't do anything about it, as you can't touch or feed the animals on the islands.
