The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine codified the light armored car "Dzhura", developed and built by the domestic company "Praktika" on the chassis of the Toyota Land Cruiser 70. Currently, this car is accepted for operation in the Armed Forces.
The Jura armored car is equipped with an armored capsule with Level 1 ballistic protection according to STANAG 4569, i.e. against small arms of caliber 7,62 mm (with a conventional, non-armor-piercing cartridge). It is also able to withstand the detonation of two grenades under the bottom.
The modular design allows you to create up to a dozen different modifications: from a 4-seater with an open cargo compartment (as in the photo) to a 6-seater, completely closed, as well as sanitary. A hatch and a mount with armor protection for a 7,62-mm machine gun are installed on the roof. At one time, the "Praktyka" NGO already presented an armored car of a similar class "Kozak-4", made on the Land Rover Defender chassis.
