Shalai-Bobrovnytskyi nevertheless believes that Ukraine is "exhausting its resources and needs financial support from the West"

Against the background of his "praise", Christophe Shalai-Bobrovnytskyi did not forget to criticize the West in the "activation" of the war in Ukraine.

Hungarian Defense Minister Kristof Shalay-Bobrovnytskyi said that he has great respect for the "heroic and brave struggle of Ukrainians." At the same time, he accused the West of "intensifying" the war. The Hungarian official made such a statement at a festival in the city of Esztergom in the northern part of Hungary, reports the local publication Telex.

Shalai-Bobrovnytskyi made several remarks about the war in Ukraine.

"As a soldier, I have great respect for the heroic and brave struggle of Ukrainians, but the efforts to negotiate peace show that the war is getting closer to the end," the official assures.

The government official did not explain what "efforts" he was talking about and did not explain the reason for such an assessment of the war.

The Hungarian minister accused the West of "intensifying" the war instead of "retaining" it, which helped Russia "develop a military industry that will provide the necessary level of ammunition, manpower and tanks."

Shalai-Bobrovnytskyi believes that, on the other hand, Ukraine is "exhausting its resources and needs financial support from the West."
