Iran's new attack on Israel may be much more powerful than the previous one. Tehran can use more than a thousand air targets, according to Mark Babot, lieutenant colonel of the General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces in reserve.
"An attack by Iran can become an excuse for Israel to destroy Iran's nuclear program in the end and lead the whole world to normalization precisely in the sense that Iran will not have any more trump cards. We saw it - during the strike with one missile, Israel zeroed out the entire air defense system in the south of Iran," he said on the air of the We - Ukraine TV channel.
If Iran tries to attack Israel again, it could be very heavy and very massive, Babot says.
"Last time, more than three hundred different drones and missiles were launched. Now it can be up to 1,5 thousand. Despite the fact that the Americans have strengthened the fleets in both the Red Sea and the Mediterranean, Israel is in full combat readiness," he said.
Babot added that several countries, including Saudi Arabia, are ready to deflect a blow from Israel.
