How to make coconut buns
To prepare, you will need 250 grams of flour, 55 grams of eggs, 20 grams of sugar, 2 grams of salt, 120 grams of milk, 3 grams of dry yeast and 20 grams of butter. For the filling, prepare 15 grams of butter, 20 grams of eggs, 15 grams of powdered sugar, 10 grams of powdered milk and 30 grams of coconut flakes.
First, you need to sift the flour into a bowl and add sugar and salt to it. Stir the resulting mixture and add the egg and warm milk to it. Don't forget the yeast. Mix everything and start kneading the dough. Knead it for 5 minutes, and then add butter at room temperature. Knead the dough for 20 minutes until it starts to come away from your hands. Transfer the dough to a bowl and leave for an hour in a warm place.
Next, we prepare the filling. Butter at room temperature should be ground with powdered sugar, and then add dry milk. Mix the resulting mass well. Pour the egg there and knead until smooth. Pour in the coconut flakes and mix everything together.
The dough has already risen, then knead it and sprinkle the work surface with flour, and then put the dough there and slightly roll it into a layer. You need to put the filling on one half of the dough, and cover it with the other half of the dough on top. Press everything and carefully go through the rolling pin.
Cut the dough into strips and twist each of them into a spring. Place on a baking sheet and leave to rise for an hour. Grease the buns that have come up with milk and bake for 14-18 minutes at 180 degrees.
