US President Joe Biden will meet with his national security team on Monday to discuss developments in the Middle East.
As reported by Ukrinform, this was stated by the President's deputy adviser on national security, Jonathan Feiner, The Guardian reports.
The US president will also discuss the issue with Jordan's King Abdullah II as the US begins a new round of diplomacy aimed at reducing tensions, Feiner said.
"The common goal is to lower the temperature in the region, deter and defend against these attacks and avoid regional conflict," he added.
According to him, the USA and Israel are preparing for any threat.
As a result, fears are growing that Israel's war against Hamas in Gaza could escalate into a wider conflict.
