To improve health, scientists recommend laughing out loud or sometimes going outside and basking in the sun.
Laugh out loud. Research shows that optimistic people are less likely to suffer from heart problems - they are less likely to have circulatory disorders and heart attacks. In addition, when laughing, the body produces the happiness hormone serotonin, and if we laugh regularly, it strengthens our immune system.
Embrace. Hugging releases "happiness and attachment hormones" such as dopamine and oxytocin in the body, and at the same time slows down the production of the stress hormone cortisol. People who often hug in the family, with loved ones, are more stable and less prone to stressful diseases and colds.
Go outside, bask in the sun. Just 30 minutes in the fresh air is enough for the body to produce more vitamin D, which strengthens the immune system and is important for many processes in the body. Depending on the type of skin, from 5 to 25 minutes of exposure to the sun without protection is considered quite acceptable.
Most often take deep breaths. Try to inhale deeply, then exhale and hold your breath for about five seconds, then inhale deeply again and exhale slowly. Breathing exercises slow down the release of stress hormones, strengthen the immune system, help with sleep disorders and prevent anxiety.
Get up from the chair. These are the consequences of prolonged sitting on a chair - the heart and circulatory system weaken, blood flows more slowly or even accumulates, metabolism slows down, the muscular corset of the body atrophies. That is why you need to get up and move as often as possible. Ideally, up to 30 minutes a day should be spent on physical exercises.
