Salad without potatoes "Kolomiyskyi"

I offer a recipe for a very tasty salad with boiled beef (but any meat you have will do - pork, lamb, and even chicken) and bell pepper. The salad turns out juicy, filling and bright, in general, perfect for every day - be sure to try it!


  • Boiled beef 300 g
  • Bell pepper 1-2 pcs
  • Onion 1 pc
  • Canned green peas 1 can
  • Chicken egg 4 pcs
  • Hard cheese 150 g

Onion marinade:

  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Table vinegar 9% 2-3 tsp
  • Boiling water

  • Mayonnaise 150 g (or to taste) or Sour cream 20% 150 g + Mustard ½ tsp


Cut one medium onion into thin quarter rings. Put the chopped onion in a bowl, add salt and sugar. Pour in 6-9% vinegar and mix. Pour boiling water so that the water barely covers the onion, mix and leave to marinate for 15-20 minutes.

Cut a large sweet bell pepper into thin strips.

Transfer the bell pepper to a deep salad bowl and add 1 can of canned green peas, having previously drained the liquid from it.

Hard-boil 4 chicken eggs, cool, peel and cut into cubes. Add to the salad bowl.

Cut the cheese into small cubes and add to the salad bowl.

Boiled meat is cut into thin strips or disassembled into fibers.

Squeeze the pickled onion from excess liquid and add it to the salad bowl. Salt and pepper the salad to taste.

Season the salad with mayonnaise and mix. As an alternative dressing, you can use sour cream mixed with a small amount of spicy mustard - it also turns out very tasty.

Before serving, the salad can be sprinkled with finely chopped herbs - this way it will look even more appetizing. Salad with boiled beef and bell pepper can be served immediately after cooking, but if it is left in the refrigerator for at least a few hours, its taste will become more harmonious.
