"Russia must stop its illegal war of aggression and pay for the damages caused to Ukraine. The G7 continues to evaluate all legal ways of recovering losses from Russia to Ukraine. Russian assets in the West will remain frozen until the conflict ends and the specified amount is paid to Kyiv. The G7 countries are ready to provide Ukraine with a loan in the amount of $50 billion, payments for which will be made from the proceeds of Russia's frozen assets. The G7 will put significant pressure on Russia's income from energy and raw materials," the statement said.
