
It is a real masterpiece that combines the unique taste of juicy meat with the rich aroma of the filling. Every time you cook these steaks, they will not only make your cooking skills work at full capacity, but also make everyday life more colorful and rich.
In addition to the ingredients, a stove and a frying pan with a removable handle, you will need an oven preheated to 180°C.
Ingredients
- Pork chops 2 cm thick, 3 pieces
- Salt 1,5 teaspoons
- Lemon zest from 1 lemon
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Fresh parsley or fennel sprigs
- Dill seeds 3/4 teaspoon
- Chili flakes 1 pinch
- Olive oil 2 tablespoons
- Sunflower oil for frying 2 tablespoons
Preparation

Pork chops must first be washed, and then dried very well with a paper towel or napkins.
Next, cut each piece with a sharp knife, forming a rather deep pocket as in the photo. Salt and pepper the steaks not only on the outside, but also on the inside of the cut. Leave it like this for at least 10-15 minutes.
During this time, prepare the filling. Press the peeled garlic into a convenient bowl. Add to it dill seeds crushed in a mortar, chopped parsley or fennel, the yellow part of the lemon peel, chili flakes and olive oil. Mix everything thoroughly.
Fill not only the pockets of steaks with stuffing, but also coat the outside of the meat with it.
Heat the sunflower oil in a frying pan and fry the steaks on moderate heat until they form a golden crust on both sides.
After that, send the pan to the oven, without covering it, for 10-15 minutes.
Serve the finished steaks hot with your favorite side dishes.
