Highland Systems, based in the UAE, has revealed the Kronos maneuverable submarine in the form of a slope. It received a steel hydrodynamic body covered with a composite material to reduce radar visibility.
According to Highland Systems, the main feature of the Kronos was its ability to make a sudden 180-degree turn at full speed. The developers assure that their submarine is the first in the world capable of this.
There is room for 10 passengers on board. In addition, Kronos will be able to transport up to three tons of payload at a speed of up to 80 kilometers per hour.
The speed under water is 50 kilometers per hour, and the maximum depth is 250 meters.
