The Google Pixel 8a has been the subject of numerous leaks and rumors that have left nothing to the imagination. It still doesn't seem to be stopping as the AI capabilities of the smartphone have now been revealed in an official leaked promo video. It was shared by reliable whistleblower Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka Onleaks). The upcoming offering is expected to debut at the annual I/O developer conference on May 14 this year.
Google Pixel 8a promo video reveals AI capabilities
The leaked official promo video shows all the features that will be present in the Google Pixel 8a. First, it will have a "Best Shot" feature that will improve group photos. After clicking multiple images, it will allow users to select the best face and eliminate any awkward expressions.
The Pixel 8a will come with Circle to Search, which needs no introduction. It was announced earlier in January this year for the Galaxy S24 series and later came to the Pixel 8 and 7 series. This feature allows users to search for items/items by simply circling them.
According to the promo video, the Pixel 8a will have a Live Translate feature that will translate voice calls and more in real time. The smartphone will get another camera-related feature called "Audio Magic Eraser". This will remove all unnecessary background noise from the video. The leak also confirms the black and blue color variants of the device.
A recent leak revealed that the Pixel 8a will cost 18 percent more than its predecessor, starting at C$708,99 for the base 128GB variant, while the higher-end 256GB model will cost C$792,99.
