After the recent debut of the Snapdragon 3s Gen 8 powered Snapdragon 3s Gen 70 killer flagship smartphone in China, the Xiaomi sub-brand is now working on a new performance-oriented device called the Redmi K3 Ultra. Unlike the rumored Redmi Turbo XNUMX, this new device packs MediaTek's flagship processor.
Now, Weibo tipster 上海more has revealed some key details about the device. According to the source, the Redmi K70 Ultra will feature the Dimensity 9300+ chipset, an updated version of the Dimensity 9300 that debuted in November 2023. This new chip is expected to debut on the upcoming Vivo X100s and X100s Pro, which are rumored to launch in China in May.

The report also states that the device will have a 50-megapixel primary camera, along with other camera sensors such as ultra-wide and macro cameras. As for the display, it is said to have a 1,5K OLED screen with a dedicated graphics chip that should deliver good visuals and gaming. The phone is also expected to get 120W fast charging, a metal frame with a glass back, and options of up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It will also have a 5500 mAh battery.
While the K70 Ultra will be available in China, the Xiaomi 14T Pro will target global markets and may have some additional features that the K70 Ultra does not have.
