A new development has revealed that the following internal testing of the Xiaomi 15 series will soon take place in China.
In a recent Weibo post, Digital Chat Station seems to have revealed details about the Xiaomi 15 series. While DCS didn't name the phones it's talking about, it seems likely that the information is about the Xiaomi 15 lineup.
The leak says that the next phase of internal testing of the Xiaomi 15 series will take place this month (April). We will remind, in September of this year it will enter the phase of mass production.
The 15 series is rumored to have a new periscope telephoto camera and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner. It remains to be seen whether the final version of the model range will have these features.
The Xiaomi 15 series will be available in two screen sizes. A recent leak claimed that the standard model will have a 6,36-inch flat OLED display. The Pro variant may have a larger screen, but its exact size is not yet known. Both phones are said to support 1,5K and 2K resolutions respectively.
The Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro are said to be equipped with high-density batteries, but their capacity is unknown. Unusually, the leak suggests that both phones will feature a custom-made 50-megapixel OmniVision primary camera.
