The Chinese company DJI introduced the Dock 2 system, which contains the Matrice 3D or 3TD drone, capable of autonomously performing missions for six months. The system is designed to automate tasks such as photography, inspection and security.

Dock 2 weighs 34 kg and measures 56,8 x 58 cm in width and 46,4 cm in height, making it 75% smaller and 68% lighter compared to a similar system of the previous generation. The system is equipped with vision sensors that allow you to assess the deployment location before launching the drone, significantly speeding up the location selection process to 12 minutes.

System maintenance is required only once every six months. The Dock 2 has an IP55 rating and uses sensors to measure rainfall, wind speed and temperature in real time. If the weather is bad, the system sends a warning to the DJI FlightHub 2 app, and the drone's flight can be delayed.

Internal and external lenses display real-time conditions inside and outside the station, allowing operators to observe weather conditions and takeoff and landing situations from a distance. After returning, the drone is automatically charged via a wireless network.

We will remind you that in September of last year, DJI created the DJI Mini 4 Pro minidrone, weighing 249 g. The novelty received enhanced camera capabilities and increased maximum flight range. The drone was also equipped with support for omnidirectional obstacle detection technology. The developers also added the flagship DJI O4 video streaming technology.
