But everyone agrees that a hunting knife is an important element. And indeed, without a knife it will not be possible to cut the prey, it does not matter if it is meat, bird or fish. Although cutting is not the only use of this accessory.

They have a thick butt, and some models also have a small saw on the butt, which is also quite well sharpened. In these knives, the strength and convenience of the handle is not the least important. The handle is usually also strengthened, thickened. It is convenient to hold it with any grip. Blades for such knives hold their sharpness perfectly and are not subject to corrosion.
Recently, powder steel is used for the blades of hunting knives. It is stronger than even high-carbon steel.
Probably, the only disadvantage of such knives can be called only their price. But the question of price fades, next to the feeling of confidence that a good knife will not let the hunter down in a difficult, and perhaps dangerous, moment.
