Tinting is a process that changes the color of the car glass. For this, a polyester film specially designed for such purposes is used. That's exactly it auto tinting and is glued to the car glass. A special composition and paint similar to the car coating is applied to the film. Most often, motorists prefer to use a film of black or brown colors. A wide range of such films is presented in practically all auto stores.

The film for tinting should be glued from the inside of the car glass, in no case from the outside. So it will serve you for a long time, without being deformed by mechanical pressure and weather conditions. It is very important to pay a lot of attention to the choice of the color of the film, as well as the degree of its darkening. When choosing a film, pay attention to the level of light transmission, as it is different for all glasses, according to the state standard. For example, 75% light transmittance is required for the windshield, 70% for the side front glass, this level is not indicated for the rear side and rear glass, so these areas can be tinted with a film of any light conductivity, the main thing is that the film is not mirror-like. If you correctly choose a film with the necessary light conductivity, you will not have any problems during the technical inspection of the car. Naturally, you need to choose a film of such a color that it harmonizes with the color of your car's paintwork.

Tinting is best done in the garage as it is done by specialists freshcar.com.ua, as it is a closed, but at the same time illuminated space. If you are tinting outdoors, choose a day with warm and windless weather. It is not necessary to remove the glass from the door for tinting, although for many motorists it is more convenient to tint after removing the glass from the door, since the film will be more evenly distributed on the glass. Tinting is done in a certain sequence, which can take a lot of time. First of all, before starting the toning process, it is necessary to wash the car, in particular, thoroughly wash the windows so that there are no spots or stains left on them. Pay attention: the glass must be solid, there must be no cracks or chips on it, if you want the film to lie flat on it. If you tint without removing the glass from the car door, do not forget to remove the rubber seals. It is necessary to pour a previously made soap solution into the sprayer, which will be applied to the glass of the car, and a tinting film will be glued to it. Tracing paper or polyethylene film is applied to the glass, along which the glass is circled around the entire perimeter and a blank is made, along which the film is cut.

The solution from the sprayer is applied to the inner side of the glass, a film is applied to it with a transparent layer on the outside and a dark layer on the inside. Then you need to smooth the film. It is necessary to do this from the center, without leaving any folds. After the film has been placed and smoothed on the glass, the remains of the solution are removed with a dry cloth. Next, the fight against air bubbles begins: pressing the film, we smooth it out again, preventing the edges from tearing. A plastic rectangle or hard rubber is used for this. If the edges of the film are larger than the perimeter of the glass, they must be carefully trimmed.

The glass is dried. To stick the film on the deformed, curved glass, it is necessary to spray the already mentioned solution on it. Without removing the protective layer, apply the film to the glass, stretch it around the perimeter of the glass. After that, you need to remove the remains of the solution and get rid of air bubbles by heating the film.
