We choose circulation pumps

In winter, the increased gas pressure is not always fixed in the main gas pipes. If there is not enough "blue" fuel, it will be cold in the house. The trend can be changed if the correct circulation pumps are connected to the heating system, which differ in terms of configuration and power.

They are considered the most sought after hygienic pumps, often with a power consumption of 4-75 W. For a one-story house, such power is considered quite sufficient. It is enough to install one of the above-mentioned pumps in the plastic pipe coming out of the boiler, so that the coolant of any temperature can stably start moving along the entire heating circuit. If there is a shortage of gas in the house, it will definitely be warm!

For public boiler equipment, it is better to use three-phase circulation pumps, the power of which often reaches 5 kW and they are capable of pumping several tons of water! Often they are connected to short-circuit electric motors, which are valuable in terms of reliability and economy.

If the wall-mounted gas boiler works with minimum power, then most likely the circulation pump with hydraulic coupling is not working in it. It is enough to remove it and replace it with a new one, as the coolant will begin to move along the entire heating circuit. A hydraulic clutch is needed for a soft start and smooth braking. And thanks to this addition, the pump will be able to last an order of magnitude longer than standard models.

When buying, it is worth looking at the configuration of the pumps, since they are found both "wet" and "dry". First, all components, except the electric motor, are in contact with the coolant. They are equipped with practically eternal ceramic sliding bearings that do not corrode at all. But if you need economy in terms of energy consumption, then it is better to choose "dry" pumps, excellent in increased power and efficiency (it reaches 80%). For high-rise buildings, where power and economy are important, "dry" models are preferable, but "wet" models are in stable demand due to their low cost and good reliability - they are capable of working for decades even under the heaviest load.
