Experts of the Y.ua online store analyzed the orders made on the site in 2016. As it turned out, Ukrainians prefer Meizu and Xiaomi phones, which became the main competitors of the iPhone 7.
At the long-awaited presentation, which took place on September 7, 2016, the seventh generation of iPhone was presented. Technological progress is being observed, but the "apple" price tag is still too high. Consumers can only look for more affordable solutions.
E-commerce Y.ua presented a selection of models that are very similar in functionality to the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, thanks to which they are in great demand. The focus is on phones from Meizu and Xiaomi, which have recently gained popularity on the world market.
Meizu Pro 6 is an April 2016 model. Its 5,2-inch display with FullHD resolution is equipped with 3D-Press technology, which allows the sensor to distinguish the force of pressing. Apple smartphones have similar technology. It is called 3D-Touch. The screens of Chinese and Apple phones are covered with 2.5D glass. It has a pseudo-three-dimensional effect that improves perception during the game process and watching a movie.
Externally, Pro 6 and iPhone 7 are also very similar. First, in their color palettes, the color "rose gold" is present. Secondly, both have an all-metal body and the same arrangement of strips (at the top and bottom of the back), which serve to pass the cellular signal.
A flash with four LEDs is another distinguishing feature of the "seven". The comparable Chinese model has as many as ten LEDs. Both smartphones surpassed their predecessors in terms of flash brightness. And so much so that Meizu smartphone is able to replace an ordinary flashlight and take a high-quality picture in low light conditions.
Tablet phone with dual main camera
Xiaomi Redmi Pro is a model announced in July 2016. It is very similar to the iPhone 7 Plus tablet: a metal case, a 5,5-inch FullHD screen and a semi-professional camera. The camera of both smartphones is dual-module. The "Chinese" has one lens equipped with a 13 MP sensor, and the other one with a 5 MP sensor. Together, they know how to take photos with the effect of depth of field (emphasis on the foreground due to blurring of the background). This photo function was previously unique to digital cameras.
Despite the lower cost, Xiaomi smartphone in some cases it surpasses the "apple phone". First of all, it allows you to increase the amount of memory thanks to the support of cards up to 256 GB. In addition, it is equipped with a very large battery (4050 mAh).
