Recently, it would seem that thanks to the program "Revizorro", we know, if not everything, then a lot about the restaurants of our country. But I would like to dwell on two special restaurants, from which Len Letuchai is unlikely to make his reports. And also don't forget to watch others Moscow restaurants, which are distinguished by an equally interesting assortment.

1. Moscow — Turandot Restaurant. It opened on Tversky Boulevard in 2005, the project was prepared for 6 years, the interior was designed for 5 years. Now Muscovites and guests of the capital consider Turandot not only a magnificent restaurant, but also an attraction of the city, not inferior to the Kremlin or the Bolshoi Theater, and they visit "Turandot" not so much to feel like a gourmet, but to admire the unique decoration.

Today, only a small part of the building remains intact. In 1799, the building was purchased by Catherine the Great's favorite Adjutant General Ivan Rimsky-Korsakov, later a school of stagecraft appeared in this mansion, where etiquette and dancing were taught, and now the famous "Turandot" is here. The unusual name is associated with Carl Gozza's play, Turandot is the name of a Chinese princess.

The interior of the restaurant is decorated in the baroque style: antique mirrors from Venice, tapestries from France, porcelain from the most famous manufacturers in Germany, and a number of other unique items that can capture the attention of the guests of the restaurant.

The regularly updated menu includes dishes from all cuisines of the world. Exotic ingredients are a specialty of this establishment.

2. St. Petersburg — Restaurant "Palkin"

The restaurant "Palkin" is located in the second most important city in the Russian Federation. The first representative of the restaurant dynasty is an entrepreneur from Yaroslavl, Anisym Palkin, who opened the doors of his establishment in 1785. Russia, with the coming to power of the Bolsheviks, was quickly deserted, and soon ceased to exist altogether.

In 1925, "Palkin" revived for a short time, placing the "Titan" cinema in its once luxurious halls.

In the early 90s, time took pity on the once best restaurant in St. Petersburg - there was an opportunity to consider the revival of the legend. The restorers worked for three years, based on the miraculously preserved drawings and photographs. In 1995, the casino-club "Premier" with a piece of the unique atmosphere of "Palkin" was located here.

Today, the restaurant "Palkin" belongs to the "Luxury" class - a restaurant that specializes in old dishes of Russian cuisine in a classic interior. Crystal chandeliers, moldings, antique furniture, impeccable service - a chic restaurant in the heart of the Northern capital, where it is not so easy to get to.

Nowadays, these two elite restaurants are considered to be the best in the country and are sure to win prizes in all culinary competitions.
